Measurement guide
You can find here our measuring guide for your new favorite piece.
Please take your time when measuring, because only a collar or harness that fits perfectly will give your companion joy.
You can enter your measurement results directly in the ordering process.
Please note that we will make your new favorite piece with the dimensions you specify for you and therefore cannot offer returns for measurement errors on your part.
Please never measure the length of an existing collar or harness, because the length is not the circumference!!!
If you have any questions about this, please contact us.
We are glad to help you!
Measurement guide for a collar
Collars are available for all models from all our collections. We manufacture our collars in different widths and with 2 different closure types:
1. adjustable in size or
2. not adjustable with fixed closure.
Please use a soft and flexible measuring tape to measure and leave your companion standing. (do not sit or lie!)
Treats for motivation are certainly welcome!
For a collar we need the neck circumference of your dog:
(1) Neck Circumference:
The neck circumference (1) is measured at the point where the collar will later sit. Please put 1 or 2 fingers under the tape measure when measuring. Put the measuring tape on as tightly or as loosely as your companion would like to wear the collar later and please tell us this value. The neck circumference you specify will later be the inner circumference of your new favorite piece.
As an alternative to measuring on the dog, you can also use a well-fitting collar to measure.
Important here! If you have an adjustable collar, please adjust it to the size your companion always wears.
Please only measure this collar when it is closed and measure the circumference on the inner side and please give us this inner circumference as the neck circumference in the ordering process.
Measurement guide for a harness
Our harness is available for all models from the Supreme Collection, Harmony Collection and the Biothane Collection.
We manufacture this harness in different widths and with 2 different closure types. (Adjustable or not adjustable in size.)
Please use a soft and flexible measuring tape to measure and leave your companion standing. (do not sit or lie!) Treats to motivate are certainly welcome!
For a harness we need the following dimensions of your companion: (1-5)
(1) Shoulder:
Please feel the center of the chest in front (on the breast bone) and measure along the neck to the center of the withers. (2) Only the length of one side is required here.
(2) Back bridge:
For the back bridge, please measure from the last cervical vertebra (withers) to the point where the waist circumference is. (3)
(3) Chest:
For the chest circumference of your dog, please place the tape measure approx. 2-3 fingers wide (for small breeds)/ one hand (for large breeds) behind the front legs and pull it around your dog once. The distance must be large enough so that the chest strap (3) cannot rub against your armpits. Please note that you always measure on the ribs and never in the soft tissue area, as the harness can move backwards a little when pulled.
(4) Breast bar:
For the chest bridge, please measure from the middle of the breastbone through the front legs to the chest. Please measure to the point where you want the harness to end. (3)
(5) maximum head circumference:
For the maximum head circumference, the measuring tape is placed around the widest part of the head (incl. flattened ears) around the head of your companion.
